People say I am a republican, I'm not by any means. Those people have gone way to the right. I am definately not a democrat. Look what they have done to our country in 2 short years. I do not think we should blame the democrats fully.
Our congress of the US is the poorest representation of the people. With the last election showing that "We the People" want change. I do not believe anyone wanted the true Obama change. It has created such debt, tried to create a socialistic US and has played the left against the right causing gridlock in Washington. It has even filtered down to the states. I believe "We the People" want real change. I believe most people want to see the government slow down spending, get it under control. Enough of social programs that help the government mostly.
The extension of the Bush tax credits cost too much money. I am not saying let the taxes go up but why all the added spending to allow this bill to go through. Why didn't our representatives get the message to stop spending money that we do not have. At some time in the near future we will have to pay this back.
I want the country to do well. I want people who want to work to get jobs. I want to be able to tell my children we are not detroying this country. I can not. What is happening will take many years to repair. What has happened will take many years to repair.
I had to go on unemployment this past week. That was for multiple reasons, mainly I have not gotten paid from my job so I asked my boss and he told me that I was being laid off. Great way to do things. I hope next year brings better opportunities. Good luck to all.
